I started this site with the intentions of documenting all of the crazy diets, diet pills, fasts, and exercises that I try/buy/borrow. Turns out it’s not that much fun documenting these crazy diets, especially when you yourself know it’s not something you’ll stick with in the long run.
A few months ago, a friend recommended the documentary “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead.” I rented it via amazon and watched it on my iPad that night.
The next day, I went out and bought a juicer.
I’ve been juicing for at least one meal a day for the past month and have since lost 12 pounds. Overall weight loss goal? 20 pounds.
My weight loss plan currently looks like this:
- Juicing at least one meal a day: I generally drink a juice at breakfast. Some days I get in a juice for or with dinner, and about once a month, I have a day, usually Saturday, where I only juice.
- Walking 10,000 steps per day: I track this using my FitBit.
- Drinking at least 10 glasses of water per day.
- In the future: weighing in daily with my FitBit or Withings WiFi scale
